The casino emphasizes that these claims are false and unauthorized. The management of WinnaVegas Casino Resort has become aware of a deceptive online advertisement that misleadingly asserts the casino provides real-money online gaming accessible to Iowa residents. They have made it clear that this statement is inaccurate and entirely false. Tom Teesdale, the General Manager of the casino, expressed his concerns regarding these fraudulent claims, stating, “Advertisements circulating online that suggest WinnaVegas is now ‘officially online’ and offering real-money play for Iowa residents are entirely fabricated.”

Teesdale also highlighted the casino’s efforts to take action against these misleading advertisements, confirming that they are actively working to have them removed. He urged guests to remain vigilant and to avoid engaging with any links or platforms that misrepresent WinnaVegas Casino Resort.

It’s important to note that the challenges faced by WinnaVegas Casino Resort are not unique, as other Tribally owned casinos have also been victims of similar fraudulent campaigns. All authorized gaming activities at WinnaVegas are conducted on-site and adhere to strict regulatory oversight by the Winnebago Gaming Commission. Additionally, plans for future improvements at WinnaVegas Casino Resort were announced in August 2024, as Table Trac, the parent company of CasinoTrac, revealed the deployment of a significant project involving strategic upgrades at the property.
