VIP Play Welcomes Industry Veteran Les Ottolenghi as New CEO
VIP Play’s Board of Directors has officially appointed Les Ottolenghi as its new CEO. Ottolenghi brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including Chief Commercial & Transformation Officer at Lee Enterprises, Chief Commercial Officer and CIO at Stride, and EVP & CIO at Caesars Entertainment. Throughout his career, he has been credited with driving significant growth across gaming, entertainment, media, and education sectors, with his initiatives reportedly contributing to a combined market value exceeding $100 billion. Ottolenghi expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, emphasizing his vision for the company. He stated, “Today’s consumers expect entertainment that is intelligent, frictionless, and hyper-personalized. Currently, VIP Play operates in Tennessee and is gearing up for a launch in West Virginia, where it is operating under the name ZenSports. On April 3, the company was awarded an interim online gaming and mobile sports betting license by West Virginia, following its partnership with Delaware North’s Wheeling Island Casino.
