]]>The Great Place to Work assessment is one of the main thermometers of the organisational environment worldwide. Based on the real experience of employees, the consultancy identifies companies where the internal culture can generate trust, engagement, and a genuine sense of belonging.
In its second appearance in the Best Workplaces Portugal ranking, Oddsgate came 7th in the category of companies with 51 to 100 employees. Assessed in 25 dimensions by the Great Place to Work consultancy, the company obtained results equal to or greater than 90 per cent in 19 of these areas, without registering any indicator below 84 per cent.
Among the highlights were the indexes for team integration and alignment (95 per cent), sense of justice (94 per cent), and hospitality in the workplace (94 per cent), reflecting a solid, people-oriented organisational culture.
The recognition was announced during the official ceremony held on March 25. Present at the event, Oddsgate’s managing director, Nuno Jerónimo, highlighted the importance of the achievement as validation of sustainable growth: “Receiving this feedback from our team, i.e. from those who live the day-to-day running of the company, is recognition that our talent management strategies are on the right track. We’ve managed to double the number of professionals without losing the harmony of the environment and keeping integration as a priority.”
Jerónimo also reinforced Oddsgate’s commitment to the continuous evolution of the employee experience: “In 2025, our focus will be on consolidating integration, creating conditions for individual development, and maintaining our retention capacity. We believe that consistent growth is possible when we value the most important thing we have: people. That’s why we work to attract, train, and retain talent and we are confident that, in 2026, we will once again be distinguished. After all, those who are part of Oddsgate deserve every recognition.” Oddsgate SiGMA

We want to continue working side by side with our partners, contributing to a stronger, more transparent market with solutions that truly make a global impact.”.
In addition to being recognised at the awards, Oddsgate also participated in the SiGMA Awards as a sponsor of the “Industry Rising Star” category, which is dedicated to honouring individuals and companies that have already made their mark, even with little time in the industry.
Although these are two very different awards, the company celebrates results that reflect a professional ecosystem built with genuine care for people.

]]>The day will begin with opening remarks titled “Welcome to Florida”, delivered by Julie Brown, vice chairman and inaugural chairman of the Florida Gaming Control Commission—one of the state’s most authoritative voices in gaming regulation. Brown played a pivotal role in establishing the Commission and brings a deep understanding of Florida’s regulatory landscape, making her a fitting figure to help open the first edition of this reimagined event.
The opening remarks will be followed by the conversation with Bill Miller, president & CEO of the American Gaming Association (AGA) who will offer a timely exploration of how the shifting political landscape—from Capitol Hill to state regulatory conversations—is shaping the future of legal gaming in the U.S, as policymakers and regulators adapt to emerging technologies, evolving consumer behaviors, and increased scrutiny around responsible gaming.
“It’s More Fun When It’s For Fun: In Conversation with DraftKings’ First Chief Responsible Gaming Officer” will shine a spotlight on one of the industry’s most crucial and timely priorities: player protection. As DraftKings’ first-ever chief responsible gaming officer, Lori Kalani will bring a fresh perspective on how the company is embedding responsible gaming practices across its platforms and player communities.
SBC’s Managing Editor, Jessica Welman, will interview Ari Borod, who will offer attendees an exclusive look into the bold ambitions and strategy of one of the most closely watched entrants in the U.S. sports betting market—Fanatics Betting and Gaming. As chief business officer, Borod plays a central role in shaping how the powerhouse brand is differentiating itself in a saturated market, navigating regulatory hurdles, and aiming to merge commerce with gaming in innovative ways.
