The grand opening drew an impressive crowd, including leaders from the Seminole Tribe of Florida, top executives from Hard Rock International, and key figures from the City of Ottawa. Attendees witnessed a momentous occasion that combined celebration, community spirit, and the promise of a vibrant new destination.
The project, a $350 million investment, boasts more than 150,000 square feet of entertainment, gaming, and hospitality space—designed to captivate both locals and visitors alike.
“Bringing Hard Rock to Canada’s capital is an iconic milestone for our brand,” declared Jim Allen, CEO of Hard Rock International. “We’re proud to expand our global footprint and create a destination where locals and visitors can experience world-class gaming, hospitality, and entertainment all in one place.”
President of the Ottawa venue, Christine Crump, expressed pride in her team’s efforts. “I could not be prouder of our local and global team members who have collaborated on this remarkable venue,” she said. “We’ve built a destination that will attract guests from inside and outside our borders, helping to drive the local economy. It truly is the new place to be!”
The event’s attendees included not only corporate leaders but also influential figures such as COO Jeff Hook, Executive Operations Advisor Jon Lucas, and representatives from the Seminole Tribe. Local officials like Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming Stan Cho, along with Michael Andlauer of the Ottawa Senators ownership group, added to the significance of the occasion.
