In Portugal, local authorities declared Polymarket unauthorized to offer betting services. The Servi\u00e7o de Regula\u00e7\u00e3o e Inspe\u00e7\u00e3o de Jogos (SRIJ) emphasized that Portuguese law prohibits betting operations on political events, whether domestic or international.
