Kansas Casino Revenue Climbs to $36.6M in April, Up 2.3% for Fiscal Year
The Kansas Lottery reported that the state’s four land-based casinos generated $36.6 million in revenue for April 2025, a nearly 5% increase from April 2024.
The state’s fiscal year-to-date casino revenue reached $346.7 million, reflecting a 2.3% rise compared to the previous year, signaling consistent growth in Kansas’s gaming industry.
Kansas Star Casino topped the monthly revenue chart with nearly $14.9 million, narrowly surpassing Hollywood Casino, which earned $14.4 million and saw a 3.7% year-over-year increase. Boot Hill Casino and Kansas Crossing Casino reported $3.9 million and $3.5 million, respectively, though Boot Hill was the only facility to post a year-over-year revenue decline in April.

On a year-to-date basis, Hollywood Casino leads with $139.5 million in revenue, followed closely by Kansas Star Casino at $135.4 million. While land-based casinos thrive, Kansas has not legalized iGaming, unlike states such as Pennsylvania, Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey, Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Connecticut, where online gaming, including limited formats like online poker, is permitted.
