MGM Resorts Names Ryan Abboushi as New President of Entertainment
MGM Resorts International has announced the appointment of Ryan Abboushi as its new President of Entertainment. In this role, Abboushi will be responsible for overseeing the company’s unified programming and operations strategy, aiming to strengthen and expand MGM Resorts’ position in the live entertainment industry. His responsibilities will also include managing venue utilization, show bookings, talent management, and partner relationships, with a focus on creating scalable and branded entertainment experiences that can be integrated across MGM Resorts destinations. “Ryan’s leadership and experience will be instrumental in seamlessly integrating art, sports and immersive content at MGM Resorts,” said Ari Kastrati, MGM Resorts’ Chief Content, Hospitality and Development Officer. “We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to Las Vegas, as he delivers unforgettable experiences to our guests.”

Prior to joining MGM Resorts, Abboushi spent 16 years at Creative Arts Agency (CAA), where he was involved in packaging and selling a wide array of films, television shows, and specials. He also played a significant role in guiding the careers of many notable storytellers, bringing a wealth of industry experience to his new position.
In addition to Abboushi’s appointment, MGM Resorts recently extended its commitment to stability with a new employment contract for President & CEO Bill Hornbuckle, announced on May 8. The agreement will keep Hornbuckle in his current role through December 31, 2028.
Abboushi is set to officially start his new role around June 16. He originally began his career with the William Morris Agency, further establishing his longstanding presence in the entertainment industry. MGM Resorts Ryan President
