Montana’s legal sports betting market officially launched in 2020. Since then, the state has seen over $276 million in total handle, with players winning more than $240 million over the past five years. Since inception, the state has accumulated over $36 million in gross gaming revenue.

Across the United States, the momentum for sports betting continues to grow. Since the US Supreme Court lifted the federal ban in May 2018, 38 states and the District of Columbia have moved to legalize and regulate sports wagering.
