Red Earth Casino Partners with IGT for Multi-Year Systems Upgrade
Red Earth Casino, located in Thermal, California, has entered into a multi-year agreement with International Game Technology (IGT) to upgrade its casino management systems (CMS). The partnership involves replacing the existing hardware with IGT Advantage, a comprehensive platform designed to enhance operational efficiency and player engagement.
As part of this upgrade, the casino will implement IGT’s latest advancements, including the Avento capabilities for full-floor systems hardware, and will incorporate modules such as W2G Accrual and Mobile Responder. Additionally, the deployment will feature IGT’s M5 content management platform. A key component of the upgrade is the integration of IGT Advantage’s new FloorNet architecture, which utilizes a “message bus” design aimed at improving system performance and uptime. The system will also benefit from SystemWatch, providing round-the-clock monitoring of operations.
Red Earth Casino’s General Manager, Michael Broderick, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “The Red Earth Casino team is incredibly excited to partner with IGT to modernize our gaming floor and player loyalty program via the IGT Advantage casino management system.” He emphasized that the versatility of IGT Advantage, combined with M5 technology, will enable the casino to offer a “deeply personalized player experience” and support seamless growth in the future. Broderick added, “This platform isn’t just an upgrade, it’s a fundamental part of our long-term strategy to innovate, expand and lead in the next era of Tribal gaming.”

In related developments, IGT recently introduced its Wheel of Fortune DiamondRS Premium Wheel cabinet across various casinos in the United States, including Sky River Casino in California and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, which debuted on April 21. IGT President of Global Gaming, Nick Khin, highlighted the significance of real-time data and player convenience, noting that now is an ideal time for Red Earth Casino to invest in the CMS. He stated, “In packaging IGT’s leading CMS with a variety of apps and a floor-wide systems hardware upgrade, Red Earth Casino can quickly benefit from operational efficiencies and increased player satisfaction.”
