The Brazilian Football Confederation and Sportradar Join Forces Again to Safeguard Brazilian Football’s Integrity
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has renewed its exclusive partnership with Sportradar in order to enhance its Integrity and Regulatory Services. This renewed agreement is aimed at boosting efforts to protect the sport and identify any potential instances of match-fixing during the season.
Under this partnership, Sportradar will implement its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) to oversee over 8,200 matches across both men’s and women’s leagues in Brazil. The importance of this monitoring is underscored by Sportradar’s 2024 reports, which revealed a significant decrease in suspicious football matches by 48%. Additionally, the global number of matches suspected of manipulation saw a decline of 17%. Brazilian Football Confederation Sportradar
CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “Strengthening the integrity of Brazilian football is a priority for this administration, and the renewal of this partnership further reinforces our commitment to this mission.” He highlighted that the collaboration between the CBF’s Integrity Unit and Sportradar will complement the monitoring efforts of FIFA. Collectively, this partnership covers more than 10,000 Brazilian football matches during the season, marking a considerable achievement for the CBF.
Rodrigues further remarked, “This is a partnership that has been bearing fruit and has been crucial in the fight against match-fixing, ensuring a fairer and safer environment for the sport.”

It is noteworthy that the original agreement between CBF and Sportradar was established back in 2018. This extension complements existing collaborations with prominent football organizations such as CONMEBOL, FIFA, UEFA, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the Colombian Football Federation (FCF).
Andreas Krannich, Executive VP of Integrity & Regulatory Services at Sportradar, commented on the strong working relationship with CBF, saying, “We have built a strong collaboration with CBF to reinforce the integrity of Brazilian football. With this new agreement, Sportradar is providing the most comprehensive coverage Brazilian football has ever had. We are very pleased to continue this partnership with one of the world’s most-renowned football organisations.”
