ThrillTech Secures UK Remote Operating License
ThrillTech, a leading jackpot specialist, is thrilled to share that it has obtained a remote operating license from the UK Gambling Commission. This license is recognized as the gold standard in European gambling regulation and highlights ThrillTech’s dedication to compliance across the region.
The newly acquired UKGC remote gambling software license will be added to the company’s existing portfolio, which already includes licenses from Sweden, Romania, Malta, and The Netherlands. This achievement comes shortly after ThrillTech received its ISO 27001 certification, further solidifying its commitment to industry standards.
With the introduction of ThrillPots, ThrillTech’s innovative jackpot solution, UK operators now have access to an additional revenue stream that can enhance gross gaming revenue by up to 10%. Faye Williams, head of business development at ThrillTech, expressed enthusiasm for entering the UK market. She stated, “The UK is a major market for us and we can’t wait to partner with local operators to launch bespoke jackpots in this region. The first ones are already on the way.”
ThrillTech is proactive in addressing regulatory requirements, particularly with its focus on player-funded jackpots. To align with the UK’s age-gated stake limits for online slots, which were implemented in April, the company customized its jackpot algorithm. Additionally, ThrillTech has developed a sophisticated multi-currency system and has launched linked jackpots as part of its feature offerings.
“Innovation can never stop,” Williams remarked. “Following this latest licence award, we promise to keep pushing the limits of product performance. ThrillTech was built for the next stage of the iGaming industry.” In the coming weeks, the company plans to announce its first two clients in the UK.
ThrillTech aims to expand its reach significantly, targeting licensing in ten global jurisdictions by the end of the year, with plans for multiple certifications in other markets. Established only two years ago, the Cyprus-based company has rapidly evolved, enhancing the player experience through its focus on monetization and retention strategies.
