FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023

A total of 32 elite national teams from five different confederations will compete for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 championship in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 will have 32 teams split into eight groups of four teams each, numbered Groups A through H. In the group stage of the competition, the teams in each group will compete against one another in a single-headed round-robin format.

These elite teams have gone through hard stages in their local confederations to reach at the final stage of the tournament in Australia and New Zealand, where it is the first time to be hosted in the Southern Hemisphere.

The knockout phase will take place from 5th August to 20th August

The top two teams from each of the eight groups advance to the knockout stage, which starts with the round of 16, following the group stage.

The third-place game will take place on August 10, and the final match will be played on August 20. The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 will take place in 10 different locations in and around Australia and New Zealand.

The current champions USA national team could make history in both female and male edition, by winning three consecutive World Cups. Though they have to play against top tier teams including England gold generation team which won UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. Also, it would be a chance for Morocco Women team to emulate their male counterparts who went against all odds to reach the semi final, thrashing might teams on their journey to semis.
