JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino Rebrand as The Resort at Summerlin in 2026

The JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino are set to unify their branding under the new name, The Resort at Summerlin, starting January 1, 2026. This significant change is part of a comprehensive $75 million renovation initiative that encompasses upgrades across the casino, hospitality offerings, dining options, and the sportsbook.

This rebranding marks a major step in the resort’s evolution, positioning it as a fully integrated destination within the Summerlin community of Las Vegas. The move consolidates the resort and casino operations under a single identity for the first time since the property’s opening in 1999, when it debuted as Summerlin’s first casino resort.

According to management, the new branding mirrors the original vision of the property—a comprehensive hub providing gaming, lodging, dining, wellness, and event spaces within one cohesive campus. Michelle McHugh, Vice President and General Manager of The Resort at Summerlin, shared her thoughts: “Over the past 18 months, we’ve completed a significant renovation designed to revitalize and refresh the property while elevating the overall guest experience.”

She further emphasized that the ongoing transformation is a strategic, long-term investment aimed at securing the resort’s future and enhancing its role in the local community.

The renovations have touched nearly every aspect of the property, including guest accommodations, public areas, and casino facilities. Guest rooms have been redesigned to offer more spacious living areas and modern amenities, with some featuring walk-out balconies or terraces overlooking meticulously landscaped grounds.

Improvements extend to the conference center, fitness facilities, and Spa Aquae, along with upgrades to the casino floor—such as new lighting, finishes, and the addition of high-limit gaming zones.

Food and beverage offerings remain a key focus of the redevelopment. Several new restaurants are scheduled to debut throughout 2025, with more venues opening in early 2026 as part of The Neighborhood Food Hall. These new dining options will complement the resort’s existing on-site restaurants.

Additionally, the resort has announced a partnership with Caesars Entertainment to launch a Caesars Sportsbook on the casino floor in early 2026. This new sportsbook will replace the current wagering area and will feature upgraded audiovisual technology and self-service betting kiosks, all integrated with the Caesars Sportsbook platform.

This rebranding effort follows the announcement made in December 2024, of a $75 million renovation plan coinciding with the property’s 25th anniversary. That project included upgrades to the casino floor, the addition of high-limit rooms, and enhancements to the spa, with design work led by FRANK Architecture and Interiors and construction managed by Trident, a Las Vegas-based contractor.
