High Roller Partners with Playtech to Launch iGaming Platform in Ontario

In a move poised to reshape the Ontario online gaming landscape, High Roller Technologies has teamed up with industry giant Playtech to bring their innovative platform to Canadian players. The partnership signals a strategic push into the province’s rapidly expanding iGaming market, with plans to go live later this year.

The announcement marks a significant milestone for High Roller, which is ramping up efforts to establish a foothold in regulated markets. Beyond the partnership, High Roller has taken official steps by submitting an application for an Internet Gaming Operator license in Ontario. If all goes well with regulatory approvals, the platform intends to launch its live operation in the province during the second half of 2025.

Meanwhile, Playtech continues to broaden its reach. Recently, the company and Hard Rock Digital rolled out a new live trivia game show on Hard Rock Bet in New Jersey. This interactive offering features real-time quiz segments hosted by professional show presenters, allowing players to answer trivia questions for prizes. Customization options let users personalize themes, languages, and display settings, enhancing engagement.
