Oddsgate wins “Best Workplace 2025” and “Brazilian Market Breakthrough” at the SiGMA Awards

Press release.- After celebrating its third anniversary in March, Oddsgate continues to have reasons to celebrate. The company was recently recognised on two distinct fronts, symbolising both the strength of its internal culture and its strategic performance in the industry: 7th place in the Best Workplaces Portugal 2025 ranking by the consultancy Great Place to Work and the “Brazilian Market Breakthrough” award at the SiGMA Awards, held in São Paulo.

Best Company to Work For in Portugal

The Great Place to Work assessment is one of the main thermometers of the organisational environment worldwide. Based on the real experience of employees, the consultancy identifies companies where the internal culture can generate trust, engagement, and a genuine sense of belonging.

In its second appearance in the Best Workplaces Portugal ranking, Oddsgate came 7th in the category of companies with 51 to 100 employees. Assessed in 25 dimensions by the Great Place to Work consultancy, the company obtained results equal to or greater than 90 per cent in 19 of these areas, without registering any indicator below 84 per cent.

Among the highlights were the indexes for team integration and alignment (95 per cent), sense of justice (94 per cent), and hospitality in the workplace (94 per cent), reflecting a solid, people-oriented organisational culture

The recognition was announced during the official ceremony held on March 25. Present at the event, Oddsgate’s managing director, Nuno Jerónimo, highlighted the importance of the achievement as validation of sustainable growth: “Receiving this feedback from our team, i.e. from those who live the day-to-day running of the company, is recognition that our talent management strategies are on the right track. We’ve managed to double the number of professionals without losing the harmony of the environment and keeping integration as a priority.” 

Jerónimo also reinforced Oddsgate’s commitment to the continuous evolution of the employee experience: “In 2025, our focus will be on consolidating integration, creating conditions for individual development, and maintaining our retention capacity. We believe that consistent growth is possible when we value the most important thing we have: people. Leading Role in the Brazilian Market 

During the fourth edition of the SiGMA Awards, held at the Tokio Marine Hall in São Paulo, Oddsgate was awarded in the “Brazilian Market Breakthrough” category — a milestone achievement, especially as it marked the company’s first nomination. 

This unprecedented victory resulted from a significant effort: Oddsgate’s role in the regulatory compliance process of seven partner brands in Brazil, a strategic milestone demonstrating commitment, operational intelligence, and execution capabilities.

“The true alchemy behind this achievement lies in our people. In their delivery. In the collective commitment. With teams like ours in Lisbon and Porto, it’s not just about competence but resilience and cohesion. We are a movement in motion, and we’re not stopping,” said Lucia Barseghyan, celebrating with the team present in São Paulo and with colleagues cheering from afar.

According to Tiago Almeida, the award highlights Brazil’s role as a connection point with the entire region. “Latin America represents a real opportunity to transform the industry. We want to continue working side by side with our partners, contributing to a stronger, more transparent market with solutions that truly make a global impact.”. 

In addition to being recognised at the awards, Oddsgate also participated in the SiGMA Awards as a sponsor of the “Industry Rising Star” category, which is dedicated to honouring individuals and companies that have already made their mark, even with little time in the industry.

Although these are two very different awards, the company celebrates results that reflect a professional ecosystem built with genuine care for people.
