Midnite Partners with World Snooker Championship for Groundbreaking Prize Initiative
Midnite, the official betting and casino partner for the 2025 World Snooker Championship, has introduced an exciting promotional initiative called “Midnite Maximum.” This program will award £25,000 to a randomly selected spectator if a player achieves a 147 maximum break during the tournament.
The initiative will operate by drawing a random seat number at the beginning of each session held at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre. If a player manages to complete a maximum break in that session, the audience member holding the corresponding seat will walk away with the £25,000 prize.
Achieving a 147 is regarded as the pinnacle of individual success in snooker. Since the tournament’s inception, there have been 14 instances of this achievement at the Crucible, including two notable breaks during the 2023 event. This year’s championship will commence on Saturday and culminate with the final match scheduled for May 5.
The timing of this announcement is particularly noteworthy, as Welsh player Jackson Page recently made headlines in the qualifying rounds by becoming the first professional to score two 147 breaks in a single match.
