Gaming Corps Secures Alberta iGaming Licence Ahead of Market Launch

Gaming Corps has secured a conditional iGaming supplier licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC), allowing the studio to enter Alberta’s regulated market from the first day of operations.

The licence, granted through Gaming Corps Malta Ltd, authorises the company to manufacture and supply gaming software in the Canadian province ahead of the regulated market launch on 13 July 2026.

With the approval now in place, Gaming Corps continues to advance its North American expansion plans while reinforcing its presence across regulated jurisdictions.

The licence will provide Alberta operators with access to Gaming Corps’ portfolio of casino games and proprietary game mechanics as the province prepares to introduce its regulated iGaming framework.

Alex Lorimer, COO at Gaming Corps said:

“Securing our Alberta licence marks another important step in Gaming Corps’ regulated market expansion strategy. Canada continues to represent a key growth region for us, and we’re excited to bring our expanding portfolio of games and unique mechanics to operators and players in Alberta.”

Alberta is expected to become Canada’s second regulated open iGaming market after Ontario, with the AGLC responsible for overseeing licensing and compliance requirements for both operators and suppliers. Gaming Corps AB is a publicly listed game development company headquartered in Sweden, trading on Nasdaq First North Growth Market. The studio develops and distributes casino content, including slots, crash, mine, table, and Smash4Cash™ titles, across regulated markets in Europe and North America, operating its own proprietary remote game server (RGS) that is approved in jurisdictions including Malta, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
